Hands Only CPR Training

Posted by:

Join the Fire District to be a part of the chain of survival by learning hands-only CPR on Thursday, April 27th at 6pm.  Participants will learn to recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, have the opportunity to train with mannequin Mini Anne, and learn the steps necessary to save a life!

Hands-Only CPR is so easy that almost anyone can do it! This new CPR method eliminates the need for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation – one of the reasons some people avoid learning or performing CPR.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Hands-only CPR, the compression-only method, was developed by the American Heart Association and can be used on both teens and adults.  For additional information about the program, visit the American Heart Association website.
